2026 Speakers’ Information
Martin T. Rucker II & Geony Rucker jointly presented the keynote address at the 2026 breakfast.
Martin T. Rucker II was born in St. Joseph, Missouri. From an early age, he exhibited remarkable talent on the football field – a talent that would eventually result in being named an All-American tight end at the University of Missouri. In 2008, Martin was drafted by the Cleveland Browns. After retiring from football in 2014, he now serves as President and CEO of Martin T Rucker Development.
Geony Rucker is a former Mizzou volleyball player. She is the Founder and President of Value Unconditional, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services and support to adult survivors of various types of abuse and assault.
Together, Martin and Geony represent a powerful narrative of triumph, resilience and the unwavering commitment to make a difference. Their inspiring stories serve as reminder that with determination and heart, we can all strive to have a positive impact on those around us.

Hosted by and organized on behalf of all of the Mayors throughout the Greater Kansas City area, the annual breakfast unites several hundred community members each year, with the Mayors, to join together in fellowship and prayer.
