The Greater Kansas City Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast has a rich history dating back to 1962, inspired by the National Prayer Breakfast. It was founded to promote community and fellowship among local leaders and citizens.

Our MISSION is to honor God and encourage spiritual awakening and moral growth in every individual throughout the Greater Kansas City Area. Join us in creating a community of faithful believers who prayerfully gather with One Voice, One Heart and One Spirit for the sake of our neighborhoods, our communities … and our nation.

Held annually, the breakfast serves as a platform for sharing principles based on the teachings of Jesus, bringing together diverse attendees.
